The Santa Clara Dog Training Club Inc. is an American Kennel Club member club that has actively been conducting training classes in San Jose and the South Bay for over 50 years. We offer a variety of classes taught by highly qualified trainers that are suited for dog owners interested in having well behaved pets or in competition. A portion of our class fees go to support working dogs in our community. For more information see the About Us page.

The SCDTC is dedicated to:
  • Promoting responsible dog ownership
  • Conducting classes for the training of purebred and mixed breed dogs and their handlers
  • Encouraging the training of judges and ring stewards
  • Holding and supporting obedience, rally, and agility trials and matches
  • Holding and supporting tracking tests and matches
  • Promoting cooperation and good sportsmanship among its members in the training and exhibiting of dogs
